Non-Executive Director
Alastair Marsh
Alastair was appointed a Non-Executive Director of Wallem Group in July 2022 and resides in the UK.
Alastair spent six years with PriceWaterHouse before moving into industry where he gained experience across a wide range of sectors including shipping, telecoms, chemicals, energy, software, technology, and computing, in both listed multinationals such as Laporte Plc, and NCR Corporation and privately owned and private equity-backed businesses. He spent over 13 years at Lloyd’s Register where, as Group Chief Executive, he delivered a change program focused on data and digital transformation across its 250 offices in 80 countries before taking on several non-executive director roles.
He is currently the Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Xeinadin Group, a top 20 firm of accountants and business advisors in the UK backed by private equity. He also serves as a Trustee and the Chairman of the Audit Committee at the Royal Museums Greenwich. He is a younger brother of Trinity House and a Court Assistant and livery member of The Shipwrights in London.
Alastair was educated at Edinburgh University with a bachelor’s degree in business and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has lived and worked in Australia as well as the UK.
